Adjustable Makeup-Flow Splitters

ASI has developed a new design of Adjustable Makeup-Flow Splitter, which is the 691 series. The 691 series splitters provide ASI customers with extended dynamic range, precise split setting and reduced dead volume. In particular, the Vernier scale feature enables the users to set splits reproducibly and to operate the adjustable knob smoothly. The outside dimensions are almost identical to the old 690 series.

The Adjustable Makeup-Flow Splitter can be used to maintain a constant split flow over an inlet flow rate range (select "Variable Prep Inlet Flow and Fixed Split Flow" from the left menu).

The Adjustable Makeup-Flow Splitter can also be used with a constant inlet flow rate thereby allowing the user dynamic control over the split ratio and split flow rate (select "Fixed Prep Inlet Flow and Variable Split Flow" from the left menu).
